9. Windlands

Windlands launched earlier in the year on the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive, but it's making the jump to PS VR. Developer Psytec is taking the time to go back through the game and fully optimise it for Sony's device.

The game sees you jumping around a number of sweeping, beautiful vistas while gathering collectibles and fighting bosses. Windlands is a stunning game, with a visual style that somewhat mirrors The Witness from earlier in the year. Unlike a lot of games in the PS VR line-up, Windlands is purely a single-player, story-driven experience.

Once the dust has cleared and people have had their fill of some of the launch line-up's bigger games, eyes will most likely turn to games like Windlands, which will be given a chance to show what it's all about.
