PS4: 10 Biggest Mistakes Sony Have Made So Far

1. Denying Cross-Platform Play

This one just doesn't make any sense at all.

Cross-platform play is something that gamers have wanted to happen for generations. Being able to play with your friends across consoles is a feature that could eliminate the console wars altogether (well, minus exclusives).

The possibility of this first came from Rocket League, with the developer Psyonix stating that the feature itself is completely implemented and okayed from Xbox's end. All they needed to introduce the feature was to have Sony's approval, but it seems as if they were outright denied. Jeremy Dunham, VP of Publishing at Psyonix, said it best; "Right now it's just a political barrier".

Although this is just one example from one game, it represents Sony's reluctance to introduce the feature and unite the two biggest faces in gaming, even if only a little bit. This is easily the biggest mistake that has been made on the PlayStation 4 so far, as it could be preventing any hope of cross platform play for future generations too.
