PS4: 10 Crucial Features Sony Must Implement In 2016
8.A PSN Stabiliser... Thing
This one will sound a bit vague, but it's a fitting reflection of how nebulous Sony have been about the constant outages that have plagued the PlayStation Network throughout 2015 (in fact, they've just had their first 12-hour outage of 2016 as well - hooray!). Is it hackers, poor network infrastructure, mice eating away at cables in the Sony data centre? We just don't know, because apart from apologising and admitting to there being "issues", Sony refuse to explain why the stability of the PlayStation Network is about as consistent as the Metal Gear Solid's storyline. In truth, the technicalities of the 'why' don't really matter to gamers. What does, is that Sony patches up whatever gaping holes exist in the PlayStation Network and makes it work as it should. By contrast the Xbox One has suffered very few outages, and the increasing stress of just not knowing whether you'll have full access to your games console each time you switch it on could tempt many gamers to jump ship.
