PS4: 10 Easy Platinum Trophies That Won't Take You Long To Unlock

3. Life Is Strange - What If?

Life Is Strange Achievement
Square Enix

Unlike Goat Simulator, Life Is Strange definitely lives up to its title. Telling a twisty-turny tale revolving around time travel and the butterfly effect, it's also a surprisingly dark, mature adventure game, touching on themes like suicide in a sensitive fashion. In terms of trophies, it's a walk in the park, with each reward being handed out like Iron Man hands out sarcastic comments. Rather frequently, then.

The 12-hour platinum is as simple as they come, asking players to complete all five episodes, taking a series of optional photographs along the way. Like a lot of other games on this list, you can backtrack through each section (with a feature called 'Collectible Mode') to pick up any snaps that you missed.

The story will ask you to make a series of choices which can impact events further down the line, but none of these are linked to trophies. You can play the game in any way you like, and this freedom makes the platinum one of the more stress-free experiences on the PS4.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for over ten years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
