7. System Updates Need To Be More Frequent

When it comes to system updates, even the most diehard of PS4 owners can't help but think the grass is probably greener on the other side.

While Microsoft is cracking out substantial updates to its console every month or so (and even implementing huge changes like backwards compatibility), Sony supporters are lucky if they're given even the basic features the competition has had for years (looking at you, appear offline).

While Sony was probably a bit over-zealous in the PS3 era when it came to frequent and intrusive updates, it seems like they've gone the exact opposite direction this generation, which has made for a console that can feel extremely dated compared to others on the market.
