PS4: 10 Major Flaws Sony Must Address In 2016
6. PS Now Still Isn't A Worthwhile Service
When PS Now was first unveiled it seemed like a feature with huge potential. At the time, Microsoft still hadn't announced that they were bringing backwards compatibility in any form to their console, so when Sony seemingly "solved" the problem of being able to play older PlayStation games on the new machine (by paying a bit extra, of course) it was met with universal praise.
However, just like so many others before it, Playstation Now ended up as yet another half-baked feature that squandered its game-changing potential.
For a start, many of the available games just aren't playable due to the severe input lag (especially twitch shooters or one-on-one fighters), and the often excessive prices don't exactly dampen the blow.
So while the service is getting better, with more gaming and pricing options recently being introduced, it still has a long way to go if it wants to be considered a true solution to the console's ongoing backwards compatibility problem.
