8. Katamari Damacy

The huge amount of potential in a current generation Katamari Damacy makes it extra painful that we haven't seen a new entry yet. That needs to change.

Considering how beloved the Katamari Damacy games are, it's kind of strange that Sony hasn't bought back the puzzle series for the new generation. The last time we got to see the King Of All Cosmos in action was on the PlayStation Vita, and we all know how successful that little venture was.

Out of all of the game's on this list, Katamari Damacy could have the biggest jump into the current generation. Previous titles in the series have let you roll up whole cities, but imagine rolling up whole planets and worlds. The gameplay of Katamari Damacy wouldn't necessarily have to be changed too much, just advanced to make it much bigger and much better.

Although the Vita appearance of Katamari was a while ago, it does show that the series hasn't been forgotten. Perhaps a new title isn't too far fetched of an idea.
