PS4: 10 Reasons Why It Will Win The Console War

4. The Ability To Play Pre-Owned Games

PS4 share The X1 has come into major fire by officials confirming the fact that there will in fact be restrictions placed on the sharing of games. With such strict and quite honestly stupid rules on what we do with what we bought, Sony's jumped right on its high-horse, and came riding like a white knight to the rescue, during its E3 reveal. Sony officials confirmed that there will be absolutely no restrictions on the sharing of games between friends or even the sale of it. Basically, once you buy it, you're free to do with it what you may. In what seemed like only a dream, even the most loyal of Xbox fans roared in applause of what many consider a very smart move by Sony. Not only can enterprises such as Gamestop continue to run, gamers can once again share their games with one another. This is in fact quite a major point to consider when buying a console, which Microsoft didn't expect. It boils down to the fact that games are quite expensive these days and with so many to pick and choose from, we can't afford all of them. The best way around this is to trade with your friend, or even sell old games which you aren't using and gain back some cash. With such practises now only being available on the PS4, we know for a fact the X1 is going to lose more than a couple of followers. And just to rub it all in, Sony released a hilarious 'tutorial' on how to share games on the PS4.
