9. The Bethesda Mods Fiasco

The latest misstep at time of writing, Bethesda have been forced to admit to consumers that after months of touting free mod support for Fallout 4 and their Special Edition of Skyrim, Sony simply won't allow it.

Their statement reads:

"Sony has informed us they will not approve user mods the way they should work: where users can do anything they want for either Fallout 4 or Skyrim Special Edition"

You have to assume this is down to the likes of nude mods or other controversial content that Sony simply don't want available on their system, however it still represents a defined difference between how Microsoft and Sony operate.

Microsoft are happy to support user-created content and already have Fallout 4 mods available right now, whereas Sony have Bethesda tied up in these miscellaneous obligations.
