PS4 Vs Xbox One: 10 2014 Releases To Win The War

7. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

This isn€™t a console exclusive but it€™s clear that Kojima wants to shake the experience up somewhat, depending on which version of the PSN/XBL prequel titled Ground Zeroes you buy. Those that buy Ground Zeroes over XBL will get an additional stand-alone bonus mission where the player takes control of cyborg Raiden to fight body-snatchers. Meanwhile, PSN users will receive another retro blast from the past with an additional mission featuring the blocky and infamously ugly rendered PS1 Solid Snake. It goes without saying that Kojima is probably cooking up some more controversial DLC tie-ins for the full release of The Phantom Pain. Seriously, Hideo Kojima is the closest embodiment of a real life troll considering that he completely lied about who the protagonist of Metal Gear Solid 2 would be. Although The Phantom Pain will be available on last generation consoles too, this is the kind of game you€™re doing yourself a disservice on if you don€™t upgrade. Whichever console gets a story DLC perhaps, could not only change the tide on which system gamers purchase The Phantom Pain for, but which console people actually obtain in the first place to play the game on.
