PS5: 10 Games That Show What It Can Do
8. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
When Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was first announced many thought it was an odd choice to take a franchise mostly associated with stealth and centre its latest game around the Vikings. But it did not stop fans from enjoying the story of Eivor and his clan's attempt to settle in Anglo-Saxon England, only to become embroiled in the conflict between the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order.
Although the game does not really innovate on the classic Ubisoft gaming formula, the good news is no matter whether you want to play as stealthily as you can or embrace your inner Viking, Valhalla’s combat system and upgrade tree will give you plenty of abilities and weapons to find the play style that best suits you.
Many predict that open world games will be the ones to benefit most from the next generation of consoles and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on the PS5 is a great example of that.
Fast travelling in the game takes seconds, but what’s most impressive is the draw distance and attention to detail on the PS5 that will allow you to truly appreciate the stunning landscape of the game as you explore the highest peaks and largest cities of England.
