2. Get Some Kind Of Exclusivity Deal For GTA VI
Sony would be wise to attempt to capitalise on the ridiculous success that Grand Theft Auto VI will no doubt be. There will be a significant number of customers who will buy one of the new consoles solely because they want to play GTA, and Sony should look to make the choice of platform an easy one.
When Fifa 14 launched on the Xbox One, the platform had exclusive rights to Legend cards in Ultimate Team, which were among the very best in the game. This meant that if you mostly played Fifa, getting a PS4 was a pointless endeavour since you would be playing an inferior version of the game, which likely drove a significant number of players over the Microsoft's platform. Also note: A lot more people play GTA than Fifa.
