PS5: 10 Ways Sony Can DESTROY Xbox Series X
3. Undercut Microsoft On Pricing
Back in 2013, Microsoft didn't so much drop the ball with their Xbox One launch as hurl it down a Kinect sized canyon before jumping in themselves to check out the scenery, launching their latest console at a staggering $499, a price in no small part attributed to the forced inclusion of their voice-controlled accesory.
Microsoft seem to have learned their lesson this time however, and the two console giants are currently locked in a stand-off, waiting for each other to make the first move.
Sony however, have the advantage over Microsoft in this regard.
Whereas Microsoft have the arduous task of attempting to win back many of the consumers who switched over from the Xbox 360 to the PS4, Sony have simply got to do their best to keep those who bought a PS4 on board for a second time.
Therefore, all Sony really need to do is make sure they price their latest and greatest at least somewhat competitively with the Series X. Even if it is thirty to fifty dollars more expensive than the Series X, that should still be enough for many to not feel as though they are wasting too much money in order to get better games.
