5. It's Got A Microphone
Rejoice all you online gamers. The Sony team have added a microphone array to the DualSense, negating the need for a headset.
This was only a natural addition to the controller, with the DualShock being able to relay in-game sound for some time.
However, note the DualSense's reduced holes for the speaker grill, as opposed to its predecessor. Are we going to see an equally smaller speaker this time round?
Nevertheless, there's no doubt going to be an extra torrent of in-game chatter in PS5 games thanks to the new in-built mic. Eagle-eyed viewers will also notice the addition of a small grey button just above the microphone opening - we'll speculate this is likely the mute button.
Time will tell if the mic will be any good, but for now it's a welcome addition for those who want to jump into party chats and online worlds without needing to fork out for a headset.
