PS5 DualSense Controller: 7 NEW Features You Need To Know

1. Two-Tone Design

In a move sure to surprise many fans, Sony have opted for a two-tone design for the DualSense controller. This is a huge departure from previous DualShock base model designs, which have been predominantly black.

Now, these released images show the controller as mostly white, with only the bottom half of the pad and the trigger buttons in black. Not only that, but also gone are the colours corresponding to the four buttons. Meaning PS newbies might have a harder time differentiating between them.

Important to note is that the two-tone design is likely to match the eventual design of the console itself. Of course, the look of the PS5 is still under tight wraps, but we'd be hugely surprised if this wasn't the case.

Either way, it's going to take some time to get used to the new two-colour design, even if there are official DualShocks available to buy today with a similar two-tone scheme.
