9. Demon's Souls Remastered

It's barely a secret at this point that a remaster of FromSoftware's Demon's Souls is in development - a project which has enjoyed a bunch of leaks over the past year or so - but the biggest surprise is that it's apparently being saved for the PS5, rather than the PS4.

It's not confirmed, but it's been hypothesised that Bluepoint Games (the team responsible for remastering Uncharted and Shadow of Colossus) could be working on the project. They've been working on a mystery title for a while, and the recent interview with Wired confirmed it was for the PS5, and they described it as a "big one".

Demon's Souls would definitely class as a big project, as while the success of the original PS3 release was muted, it's become a coveted cult classic in the years following Dark Souls' big blowout.

Having this at launch would give PS5 a win that Xbox can't challenge, in the same way Bloodborne did early in the PS4's life.
