PS5 Reveal: 10 Rumoured Games & Features Sony MUST Confirm
1. Game - Bloodborne 2
Fan favourite Bloodborne is rumoured to be making a return in some way, whether that's a sequel or more a more likely remake. When questioned about a sequel due to easter eggs found in other FromSoftware games, Bloodborne Director Hidetaka Miyazaki denied the claims, saying that they were not indicating having a sequel currently in the works.
FromSoftware has at least a couple of games in development liked Elden Ring and other reportedly unannounced titles. It would make sense that because of this, Bloodborne 2 is a while off. This doesn't stop the rumour mill though.
What would make more sense is that there is a Bloodborne remake on the way for the PS5. More recently, rumours have surfaced that one of the titles that Bluepoint Games is working, along with a Demon's Souls remake, is a Bloodborne remake for both the PS5 and PC.
Having been developed in 2015, Bloodborne is still a decent looking game. However, looking at what Bluepoint Games did for Shadow of the Colossus, it makes sense that an impressive remake on the PS5 would come to satisfy that itch before the sequel arrives a year or two later.
