Quantum Break: 12 Easter Eggs, References & Secrets You Must See
2. Monarch Solutions' Logo
One of those 'it's been right under your nose the entire time' references, Monarch Solutions' logo appears to be a fairly throwaway looking symbol, essentially coming across as an eye-catching take on the letter 'M'.
However, once you know the origins of Monarch in the story, the fact Paul Serene set it up and more importantly why he set it up, it's very clear that the shape is connoting that of a butterfly.
The "If a butterfly flaps its wings in China, there'd be a hurricane in New Mexico" (or wherever) ideology is a metaphor for Chaos Theory, and as causality is a huge part of time-travel, adds to Serene's purpose in the story and Quantum Break's story overall, there's no doubt it's an intentional inclusion.
