This one's a little weird, but way too coincidental to not be intentional. See, Paul Serene first appears wearing a shirt for the band 'StoneCrow', a fictional band that have a very familiar logo when it comes to the font used...

Why it's the Doom font, of course, and which if we read a little deeper, 'Stone the Crow' is the name of one of the band Down's most famous songs - who recently started putting out music that would easily be classified as doom metal.

It's perhaps a stretch, but I believe wholly intentional. Also, what's that first tour date on the shirt itself? 'Bright Falls' - another Alan Wake reference.
