In Rainbow there is an awful lot at stake. Not only are the lives of your fellow squadmates in danger (each member only has one life to live in a multiplayer confrontation), but the life of the hostage you're trying to protect/ransom as well. Nowhere is this more prevalent than in Rainbow's storylines - which are known for their less than shiny portrayal of the world we live in. It's impossible to be flawless in these sorts of situations, but that just makes each and every bullet that little bit more important - both online and off. It's possible to overstate the meaningfulness of the life of a pixilated civilian in a mere multiplayer lobby, but the human element is part of what makes Clancy's titles so great, and consequently means that Rainbow can't really be played like any other shooter on the market. It's a unique beast in itself, and one that every gamer should try to tame at least one point or another. Indeed, this level of importance and severity is distinctly lacking from other console shooters - it's high-time an intelligent FPS made its way back onto the market, and Rainbow Six: Siege looks to be exactly that. Are you excited for Siege? Or are you just sick of Call of Duty's dominance over the FPS market? Sound off below and don't forget to 'like' the Facebook Page!
