Rainbow Six Siege Beta: 10 Big Things You Need To Know
6. It Works Superbly When Played As A Team
This pretty much goes without saying, but the only way to play Rainbow Six is with your friends. Sure, you can attempt to cope with users who forego voice chat altogether and attack without any semblance of a strategy, but the only real way you can experience the series to its fullest is with a competent squad comprised of different specialists. Deviate from your buddies and don't be surprised to see yourself taken out by an ambusher or bomber - there's no lone wolfing it in this one (unless you're particularly cautious). This really helps Rainbow define itself in the usual barrage of FPS titles. Actually using teamwork to succeed in confrontations is an element long forgotten by other games in the gnere, so to have that element present and accounted for this year is very much welcomed.
