Ranking 2018's Biggest Remaining Video Games By Anticipation
1. Marvel's Spider-Man
He might be Marvel's flagship character and one of the most well-known individuals in entertainment history, but Spidey's never had a game with the budget to truly do him justice. He's never had an Arkham Asylum, let's say.
Well, there's a reason this game is monolithically called "Marvel's Spider-Man" - it's the Spider-Man game, for now and many years to come.
Gameplay has been nothing less than some of the best swinging physics the character has seen, coupled with a combat system that blends gadgetry with acrobatics, web attacks and timed dodges. Character-wise it's a who's who of Spidey villains, topped off by a Peter Parker in his prime, having been Spider-Man for eight years.
On 4K displays it'll look outstanding, but even on regular PS4s, Spider-Man's hardware and generation debut will be one for the ages. Many of us have waited an entire lifetime for a game like this, and it's going to be, well, amazing.
