70. Cubone

Without ever being a core part of any of the games, the tale of Cubone and its dead mother is some of the best storytelling done in the franchise. All through character design as well.

69. Vaporeon

Feels weird having one of the Eevee-lutions so far out, but Vaporeon was easily the worst of the three. A move with a name as cool as Acid Armor should have done more than increase defence.

68. Wartortle

Yep. Of all the Pokémon involved in the original starters and their evolutionary chain, Wartortle is the worst. Don't get mad, at 68 it's still one of the best 2nd stage evolutions in the whole list, it's just that it doesn't really add as much to its base stage as Ivysaur and Charmeleon do to theirs.

67. Kingler

Given the plethora of water Pokémon in this game Kingler was one no player was every going to take to heart but anything with a one-hit-KO move like Guillotine is worthy of your respect.

66. Omanyte
