Ranking All Games Published By Bethesda Softworks From Worst To Best

32. Star Trek: Encounters/Legacy/Conquest (2006 & 2007)

In the early noughties, the majority of publishers were guilty of chasing the licensed game buck, and Bethesda Softworks wasn't an exception to this rule.

They milked the Star Trek franchise for a total of three games in the space of two years, with all of them similarly unimpressive... hence the shared ranked.

While the Trek IP can lend itself well to game adaptations, these three games leaned into being arcade-like space shooters. Unsurprisingly, it's not the best fit for the franchise.

Star Trek: Legacy does get some small bonus points for uniting all first five Starship Captains on one project (from Shatner to Bakula).. Pity it's for a painfully average purpose though.
