Ranking All Of Metal Gear Solid's Boss Battles From Worst To Best

19. Raging Raven (MGS 4)

The Eastern Europe section of MGS 4 may be universally regarded as the weakest, but it's at least accompanied by an exceptionally entertaining boss fight at the very end. What's great about this battle despite it taking a while to blast through, is that you can beat it on the ground or up on a building, and each poses its own challenges, though both will face plenty of resistance from Raven's highly damaging explosive weaponry. Still, as with the majority of the fights in this game, you're probably overflowing with rations, so it won't be something you'll need to repeat again and again. It goes without saying that explosive weapons are a must here, and soon enough you'll bring Act 3 to an end so the game can move onto the brilliant Shadow Moses portion of the game. As far as unique settings go for bosses, a beautiful (and soon to be demolished) European city is definitely up there.
