33. Old Dragonslayer

This is almost an insult to one of the greatest bosses in video games. The Old Dragonslayer is Ornstein, but with silver armour, dark magic instead of lightning, and absolutely none of the charm of the first game's encounter.

Why? Because Ornstein was easy on his own, it was the addition of Smough made him difficult; a fact that Dark Souls 2 ignores and just chucks Ornstein in for no reason. The only reason he ranks this high is because Ornstein was a pretty good fight, and he still is, even if his appearance is shoehorned in.
