4. Darklurker

The best boss in the base game, Darklurker also manages to be the most frustrating to some degree. Locked away behind a series of optional areas, he is the hardest boss to get too, but the best one in the game. It's hard to understand why FromSoftware locked him away and made the run to him so difficult. However, the fight is the perfect challenge. You fight one Darklurker and slowly learn his move set at which point he splits into two Darklurkers. You have to learn to juggle both enemies and make openings for yourself. On their own, they are really easy, but as a pair, they are genuinely challenging and stand out because of it.
