Favouring sniper rifles, there's nothing more annoying that being hit from across the room you're in by one of three shots. Consider that doubly so if you've got some already terrified survivors in tow.

Whilst it is satisfying to clear the Halls, the only one that draws a bit of sympathy (unless he's shot you a lot) is Thomas. The more reluctant son, Thomas is pressured into shooting anyone by his overbearing father and brother, so you feel a tad sorry for him for his hesitation.

That said, he will shoot you anyway, and this is a battle for survival at the end of the day. Best just to take them all out, preferably up close with a sharp weapon. They're not prepared for that.
