Ranking Every James Bond Video Game Worst To Best
11. GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (2004)
Any Bond game where you don't actually play as 007 is immediately going to piss people off, but at least Rogue Agent has something of a neat hook.
Players instead control disgraced former MI6 agent GoldenEye, who is recruited by Goldfinger to assassinate fellow Bond movie baddie Dr. No.
The game doesn't slot into existing Bond lore in much of a logical way, but enjoyed as an alternate history spin-off, it's actually pretty fun, if you can forgive some of its more generic FPS embellishments.
The primary attraction is undeniably the opportunity to use the various GoldenEye abilities to see through walls, hack equipment, deflect bullets, and so on.
It's certainly quite a different power fantasy for the series, and honestly pretty underestimated among the fandom, no matter its flaws.
