The only thing holding back 0.2 A Fragmentary Passage is the short length. Besides this, it is easily the most satisfying entry in the series since Kingdom Hearts 2 and manages to make Kingdom Hearts 3 seem all the more exciting.

Let's get this out of the way- A Fragmentary Passage is short. With only three hours to complete it on your first try, this is more of a experience than it is a game. Despite this, A Fragmentary Passage's gameplay feels so satisfying to play, it still places as one of the best games in the series so far.

One of the best features of A Fragmentary Passage out of the gate is the beautiful graphics. Environments, character models and particle effects all look amazing running on the PS4 and give a great indication of how amazing Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to look.

Despite the great graphics, the best feature by far is the gameplay. The combat feels fantastic, with each combo feeling heavy and impactful but quick at the same time. Magic especially feels great here, with each fireball and lightning strike impacting the Heartless like never before. Movement has been greatly improved upon here too, with Aqua being able to traverse through the Realm of Darkness surprisingly fast.

Besides the short length, A Fragmentary Passage feels better than any other Kingdom Hearts game released in the past ten years. If Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to look, sound and play like A Fragmentary Passage? It will be the best Kingdom Hearts game bar none.
