Ranking Every Naughty Dog Game From Worst To Best
2. Jak 2: Renegade
Just about the only non-Rockstar developed video game to take all the lessons learned from GTA and do something just as phenomenal, when Naughty Dog plied their trade to the open-world, they did so with an unprecedented amount of character and charm.
Replacing basic cars and cities were hover-bikes and industrial complexes right next to jungles, sand dunes and beaches to explore, rather than just an assortment of pistols and rifles we had laser-blasters and power-ups - one of which being a Dark Jak state that could end in a whopping great smart bomb detonating all around.
Missions comprised a primally satisfying mix of guns, platforming and the occasional vehicle chase, with a mid-game unlockable hoverboard showing that within all of this, Naughty Dog could tick the Tony Hawk's box too.
Put it this way: There's nothing better than evading the Krimzon Guard whilst kickflipping over their heads, landing on a rail, grinding your way out of sight and jacking a car in mid-air to tear off down the highway.
