Ranking Every Pokémon Mobile Game Worst To Best
2. Pokemon TCG Online
The Pokemon trading card game was released in 1996, which is before Red and Blue was even on shelves in America, and it quickly became the biggest force in trading card games in the West. It was adapted to a browser game in 2011, and has slowly been making its way across digital platforms ever since then.
Although it was already proven as a fantastic game already, the TCG's mobile port is the high-point of the sub-series. It's affordable, unlike the real-life cards which cost money, it's portable, unlike the PC and console ports, and it's constantly changing and expanding with new expansions all the time.
While some online TCGs lose popularity after release, making playing them online impossible, Pokemon TCG Online has a reliable and large player-base which means you're rarely stuck for a game. Even when you can't make a match, the AI and Trainer modes are convincingly human and make for challenging battles.
It's just a shame that long-time players have fool-proof strategies and decks, meaning first-time players can have a hard time getting their first victory.
