Ranking Every PS4 Exclusive From Worst To Best
19. Knack & Knack II
I'm gonna come out and say there are no truly bad games on PS4, but Knack's simplistic platforming rounds out the bottom of the barrel if we're getting serious.
In honesty, SCE Japan's supposed system-seller didn't put its best foot forward. Knack himself looked like the parts of a shed you're forced to clean out when moving house, and everything from base graphics to cutscene presentation was utterly inessential.
Where the games excel though, is in platforming. The original is far too hard for its child-friendly aesthetic, but there is an old-school restart-heavy charm to everything once you get the controls down. For Knack II, we got an expanded moveset, co-op play and an overall lick of paint... it was just never going to be enough to make these two titles recommendable.
