4. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
After the original Pro Skater took the world by storm, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 only served to up the ante and take the series to a whole other level.
This game improved on the first in a number of ways, such as smoother gameplay, an even better soundtrack, more diverse and memorable stages, and generally more fun to be had overall. This was due in large part to the outlandishness being turned up to a noticeably higher degree. And if the diversity of the levels, with their various secrets, wasn't enough to convince you of that, playing as Spider-Man definitely was. For lack of a better term, it's just a really cool game.
It appears that once Neversoft realized just how much the first Pro Skater struck a chord with people, they did everything in their power to make sure that the sequel was even better - and that certainly shows.
