Ranking Every Video Game Joker From Worst To Best
1. Batman: Arkham Asylum, City, Knight
Voiced by: Mark Hamill
Potentially Mark Hamill's best voice performance, or perhaps to some, even his most inspired performance in any medium (including his portrayal of Luke Skywalker) comes in this reprisal of his exceptional take on the murderous marauder in what is possibly his most glorious depiction in all of media.
After the trend of mediocre Batman game after Batman game deplorably profiteering egregiously from devoted fans, until a fairly unknown company by the name of Rocksteady came along to buck said trend.
While a lot of the critical praise comes from the flawless dynamicity of the gameplay, a lot can be attributed to the series' prime antagonist.
Despite a minor flaw in the endgame of the first title, which can be considered nothing more than a nitpick.
As you traverse the Asylum as Batman, like Alice in a severely discombobulated, idiosyncratic Wonderland, you can always feel the Joker bearing down on you, like he's watching your every move. When he isn't taunting you, his presence is always felt, giving both a sense of claustrophobia and incommodiousness, and whenever he appears, he simply steals the show.
Easily one of the best, if not the singular most exemplary Joker-centric saga ever written in the nearly 100 year history of the character.
