Ranking Every Video Game Joker From Worst To Best
8. Batman: Vengeance
Voiced by: Mark Hamill
You thought that Arkham asylums Joker had a ridiculous plan? Well, he pails in comparison to this iteration of the skinny twiglet trying to take on Batman in hand to hand combat on more than one occasion.
In this initial 3D rendition of Batman's most infamous nemesis, you can be assured that not only does the incarnation look abysmal due to the clunky textures and low-poly graphics - akin to an alpha version of a final product - but it disappointedly collapses in the execution of the character overall, as to opposed to only one issue causing restraints.
The lacklustre writing certainly doesn't help, as his plan is obviously going to be thwarted by the world's greatest detective as it always is, but even somebody with the cognitive capabilities of The Condiment King could've likely defeated him with his extremely limited arsenal of abilities. The voice acting definitely helps to relieve some of the incoherence, but ultimately not even Mark Hamill can save this travesty.
Though it was nice to see the mythical Joker being fully realised in his three-dimensional form for the first time, and alongside Harley Quinn nonetheless, it's excruciatingly underwhelming just how little passion he was crafted with. They say something has to be funny in order to be a joke, but you can rest assured, no one is laughing at this, only wincing with cringe.
