Ranking January & February 2015’s Video Games From Worst To Best

2. Evolve

Arriving and disappearing in a heartbeat, you could barely find a positive word to be said about Turtle Rock's controversial title on release day. Such a massive stink was made of it's DLC packs comprised of skins and other ancillary items that gamers leapt about the hate train, pitchforks in-hand. All you need to know now that the dust has settled is that the DLC is comprised almost entirely of pointless add-ons, Turtle Rock themselves have vowed to give players every single map they make for free going forward (an industry first when compared to COD and Halo) and the base game is one of the most unique and enjoyable shooters in years. Whether you're playing as the ferocious and imposing Monsters to tear other players to shreds or learning which abilities in your class suit your individual play-style and let you turn the tables, what Evolve offers definitely isn't for everyone, but for those who've wanted to partake in a half-Godzilla, half-Predator's jungle-style scenario, there's nothing else.
