So, was there anyone out there who didn't like John Marston? For the most part he was damn-near loveable, with a relaxed southern drawl-swagger that made him imminently likeable regardless of his potentially chequered past. One of the most sparsely-discussed rumours so far has been the mentioning of one 'Big Jesse', although so far his existence seems to boil down to intrepid Youtubers posting threads of information and backing them with conviction to get people pumped. The rumour goes that Jesse is an outlaw with an extremely violent past, who after witnessing too much decides to leave the whole thing behind and settle down. Naturally his past comes calling and he's pulled back into the world he left once again - and say it with us - "For one more job." As you can see this is remarkably similar to Marston's story - alongside a great many Rockstar titles and others within the genre itself - but the very idea of a new protagonist that can distance Rebellion from the incredibly high watermark of Redemption can only be a good thing. Whatever Rockstar decide to do, apparently we're going to get an announcement and info-dump before the year's out, so fingers crossed they can put something out that catches us completely by surprise.
