Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Gameplay Features We Need To See

1. Settlements And Home-Owning

Farms and settlements played a big role in the story of Red Dead Redemption. The story properly started on a farm and much of John's aspirations came from wanting to return to his farm life with his family.

Settlements should play a much bigger role in the gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2. Although they did play a big story role in the first, they didn't feature massively in the gameplay. Players of Red Dead Redemption 2 should be given the ability to buy their own properties and be able to run them.

Being able to buy farms and earn money from these settlements would be a great advancement on the feature previously appearing in other Rockstar games. Grand Theft Auto V allowed you to own several different properties but they didn't do much besides allowing you to store cars there. Red Dead Redemption 2 should allow you to truly customise these spaces and upgrade them over time.

Eventually owning a whole town? Should be possible in Red Dead Redemption 2.
