4. The Cave Dweller
There are dozens of weirdos to be found throughout Red Dead Redemption. Some harmfully silly and some downright disturbing.
The horrors of the Old West can have a toll on any individual but one such character seems to have had enough. Once again finding ourselves in West Elizabeth, this time to the very northeast is a seemingly normal cave.
Venturing further in will reveal a deranged man claiming himself to initially be the Devil himself before backtracking. The self-proclaimed Devil/philosopher will go on several monologues on how society has failed and nonsense like all intelligent men must live in caves.
There is an element of loneliness to his words as he often trails off mentioning how "she" didn't understand. It is clear that he must have suffered a severe amount of rejection and thus decided to reject civilisation as a whole as a result.
