Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Most Believable Plot Theories You Need To Know

1. It's Dutch/John Marston's Gang, Pre-Redemption

This seems like the likeliest scenario, as it's difficult to deny that those characters look awfully familiar.

Besides, considering all of the rich history that was teased during each of John's interactions with his previous gang members, it'd be a shame not to utilize this opportunity. Seeing how Dutch was prior to his downfall, seeing if Bill Williamson was ever likeable and seeing pre-Redemption John Marston would allow a greatly fulfilling experience to those who were hoping to see more of these characters.

Digging deeper into them would serve to further enrich this universe and help us further empathise with characters like Dutch, who clearly lost his way at one point or another. Dutch, Javier Escuella and Abigail Marston definitely deserve more screen time, and Rockstar have the opportunity to provide just that with RDR2.

The group dynamic would be immediately engaging, and being able to see how everyone interacts with each other would be both intense and quite enjoyable, thanks to the wide array of personalities. If Rockstar doesn't end up going for a clean slate in regards to the world and its characters, then a reunion of the ol' Dutch Van der Linde gang would offer up another amazing experience for both old and new fans alike.
