Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Single Player Expansions We'd LOVE To See

9. Javier Epilogue

Red Dead Redemption 2
Rockstar

There's a blank period between RDR1 and RDR2. In that blank period, a few gang members had things going on. Of course there's John and Dutch, but there's also Bill and Javier. The former became a feared gang leader in New Austin, and the latter saw himself fall in with the vicious Colonel Allende (a charismatic tyrant in the vein of Dutch van der Linde).

Now, I could've just as easily said "Bill Epilogue", but let's be honest: Billy is a dummy. He's not witty, charming, or particularly deep. He probably wouldn't make an engaging protagonist. Javier, on the other hand, is still a bit of a cipher. He got very little development in RDR1, and he didn't get much more in the prequel. It'd be nice to explore his personality a little bit.

A short Javier epilogue could see him reluctantly return to Mexico, a place that - last time he was there - was full of people gunning for him. We could see what brought him into Allende's orbit. Javier Escuella is an idealist, and it'd be interesting to see him throw his idealism out the window to join the despotic Allende.

Plus, it'd give players an excuse to revisit Mexico.
