Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Ways Rockstar MUST Do Single Player DLC

3. Micah’s Story

Similar to the O’Driscolls, Micah isn’t the most complex villain the gaming world has ever seen. That doesn’t mean he’s not a great character though. The likes of Lord Voldemort, Ramsay Snow and Emperor Palpatine are all thoroughly irredeemable villains, with limited nuance other than their plans and seemingly bottomless capacity for evil.

Micah isn’t fully on their level, but he is still a great character who manages to get under Arthur’s skin at every chance he gets.

He gives Arthur the thoroughly irritating ‘Black Lung’ nickname which cuts right to the heart of Arthur’s greatest fear: he doesn’t have enough time left to make it all right. He’s a pantomime villain and good at it, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to flesh him out a little more.

It could focus on him after the main game has concluded but before his death at the end of the epilogue. Alternatively, it could take us back to before the game started, to see through Micah’s eyes before it all went wrong.

Another option would be to have extra Micah missions through the story, to see his resentment towards Arthur grow, his work be overlooked and ultimately what drove him to follow Dutch into the dark.
