Red Dead Redemption 2: 16 Essential Gameplay Secrets You Need To Know

5. Hit L3 + R3 (Eagle Eye) To See Which Items You Can Pick Up/Interact With Indoors

After that intentionally slow-as-hell intro, you might be thinking everything from looting corpses to rifling through cabinets is always going to be a slog.

It's not that Red Dead suddenly "speeds up" (though that intro sequence is of a notably more relaxed pace), but you can immediately see which items in a bandit camp or interior are worth interacting with, by prodding L3 +R3.

Use the Touchpad/Change View buttons to switch to first-person for even more help too, and trigger Eagle Eye in the camp to get more of a handle on which parts of the ammunition wagon or Pearson's stash are usable.

The more you upgrade, the more Rockstar's art department went all out making your camp look as deluxe as possible - so cut right through that and know how to load Arthur up fast.
