Red Dead Redemption 2: 8 Disturbing Secrets & Locations You Totally Missed

4. The Meteor Devastation

The meteor house in RDR 2 is home to one of the most grisly scenes in the entire game (yes, even worse than the aftermath of a Murfree Brood ambush). Located on a hill west of the marker for Brandywine Drop is a little, unassuming shack overlooking the forest below. It's a prime piece of real estate, but a quick glance at the roof reveals that not everything is as idyllic as it looks.

Something has smashed straight through the top of the building, and making your way through the door will reveal that it was a meteor fragment. It hit the shack with such force that it pretty much obliterated everything (and everyone) in its path, destroying the interior and parting the unlucky souls caught inside from their limbs.

You can actually pick the meteor fragment out of one of the mutilated corpses if you wish, and there's another one to find not too far away as well. Thankfully, this one didn't actually catch anyone in its crosshairs, but it did do a good number on the nearby forestation.
