4. Cross-Platform Play Is On T
One of the biggest rumours that followed Red Dead's recent delay was that the added time was needed, in part, to implement cross-platform online play for the Xbox One and PS4.
If true then RDR's online mode could be even bigger than GTA V's. Cross-platform play is a rather unique and novel feature, but if there's one studio who could set a lasting precedent for it going forward, it's Rockstar.
There's been no word on the feature since this rumour first circulated though, and it might not be entirely likely considering Sony's unwillingness in the past to allow its customers to play against other people on different consoles.
Still, it's an interesting rumour, and if true could make Red Dead Redemption 2 one of the most popular multiplayer games of all time.
