Red Dead Redemption 2: Ranking Every Weapon From Worst To Best
16. Double Barrelled Shotgun
There's nothing quite like rolling the Double-Barrelled Shotgun off of Arthur's shoulder when enemies begin to close distance just a tad too much.
A fairly early-game weapon given to the player, this trusty shotgun will serve a player perfectly from the early chapters of RDR 2, all the way to the epilogue. A satisfying firearm to wield, its aesthetic appeal unfortunately can't trump this guns noticeably poor stats compared to other shotguns to be found in New Hanover.
Its 2 shell capacity limits this Shotgun's effectiveness at close ranges, as taking on any more than 2 enemies will leave Arthur a sitting duck as he has to reload for every two blasts. A fun, joyful weapon, it is still difficult to justify using the trusty Double Barrelled as your shotgun of choice in RDR 2.
