Red Dead Redemption 2: Ranking Every Weapon From Worst To Best
24. Rolling Block Rifle
One of two sniper-styled rifles in RDR 2, the rolling block rifle is bettered in almost every field by not only the superior Carcano Scoped rifle, but by almost every other rifle in the game.
Surprisingly inaccurate for the most common sniper rifle in RDR 2, the Rolling Block rifle suffers from Rockstar's habit of making their weapon scopes floaty and inaccurate. Mix in the unhelpful 'realistic' unfocused sight through the scope, and you'll be lucky to hit anything with the Rolling Block Rifle that an unscoped longarm couldn't.
The weapon also boasts one of the slowest firing rates in the game. In my own testing, it's actually faster to fire and reload the shells of a double barrelled shotgun.
When a clumsy shotgun is less frustrating to use than a sniper rifle, you know this 'precise' weapon must be less that exemplary.
