Red Dead Redemption 3: 10 Predictions For The Story
9. Mac And Davey Callander
Much like how John Marston's past was only spoken about in the vaguest of terms, the Callander brothers - Mac and Davey - were mentioned in passing more than a couple of times.
That's not a 1:1 comparison, though, as John never gave us a date as to when everything went south with the gang. With the Callander brothers, we know EXACTLY when their stories ended: in West Elizabeth, in 1899. Mac was killed by Andrew Milton in Blackwater, and Davey died en route to Colter as the gang trudged desperately through the snow.
But just because we know how it ended doesn't mean that we won't see them in their prime.
So what do we know about the brothers?
For starters, they were "a vicious pair of bastards", according to Charles Smith. Lenny stated that Davey was "a dangerous fool", and suggests that he may have been a driving force behind the Blackwater job going sideways. Sean noted that they had "fight in them", and Bill declared that they were "heartless", but that they were the kind of guys you'd want to go out robbing with.
Sounds like something worth exploring, especially since they're practically blank slates.
