Red Dead Redemption: Every Villain Ranked From Worst To Best

The Skinner Gang (or better known as The Skinner Brothers) are RDR2's Epilogue's answer to the Murfree Brood; or at the very least Blackwater's very own specimen of the sort. Players are introduced to them when John Marston pursues the endeavour to build Beecher's Hope, but unlike the Brood, they come back with a vengeance after John roots the squatters off his land.

A portion of the Epilogue sees John and Arthur set off into the wilderness of West Elizabeth to purchase wood for the house, and later rescue Uncle who was abducted and roasted over an open fire by the Skinners. Their cruelty knows no bounds, and even worse is that they appear to not want anything from those they harass.

Their actions could be chalked up to being protective and territorial of the forests and land surrounding Beecher's Hope, but the way in which they go about inflicting pain on John Marston and company is abhorrent to say the least. The Skinners might seem like a caveat of an threat, but their existence is still off--putting and terrifying to be aware of.

All things considered, hunting them down with Charles does feel good to do. Although finding the spoils of their deeds isn't the most fitting reward.
